We are excited to host a joint meeting in Denver, Colorado, USA on February 28 and March 1, 2022, of the National Allium Research Conference (NARC), W-3008 (multistate research project on integrated onion pest and disease management), and the ‘Stop the Rot’ research project team, in association with the Colorado Fruit and Vegetable Growers’ Association (CFVGA). <br /> <br /> • On Monday, February 28, NARC will host oral research presentations and W-3008 will host state reports on disease and pest pressures in the 2021 growing season. <br /> • On Tuesday morning, March 1, the ‘Stop the Rot’ team will present their current research on bacterial diseases of onion. <br /> • Poster presentations will be displayed throughout the joint meeting. <br /> • The joint research meeting will adjourn at noon on Tuesday, March 1.<br /> • The Stop the Rot project team meeting will commence in the afternoon of Tuesday, March 1.<br /> <br /> The “early bird” registration fee for the joint meeting is $275.00 for those registering before February 10, 2022. This includes admission to all research presentations by the three groups; coffee breaks on Monday AM and PM, and Tuesday AM; lunch on Monday; and an evening reception on Monday with the CFVGA, with hearty hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. You will also be able to participate in CFVGA sessions if you wish, and will have access to their exhibitors.<br /> Information on meeting registration, venue and hotel reservations, and instructions for abstract submissions is available on the meeting page at https://alliumnet.com/2022-annual-meetings/ <br /> Please note that the deadline for abstract submission for NARC is December 15, 2021, with the preliminary program available by December 21, 2021. Proceedings and posters will be made available on Alliumnet after the meeting.<br /> ‘Stop the Rot’ team members and any Stakeholder Advisory Panel members in attendance will stay on for the additional project team meeting in the afternoon and early evening of Tuesday, March 1. The separate registration fee of $90 will cover Tuesday’s lunch and Tuesday afternoon refreshments for participating team members. <br /> <br /> Accommodation:<br /> <br /> A block of rooms has been reserved at the Renaissance Denver Central Park Hotel where the meetings will be held.
